Message	but if I had an A/C recovery system I would definitely try pulling it this way. I have pulled the engine out of a 1993 Civic and a 1993 Metro by dropping it out the bottom (there is no subframe to remove to do it on either of those though). I can't say whether the method 550 is proposing is better or not for our cars, but I definitely understand the appeal of it.
